Man Attacked by Pit Bull in Pittsburgh

A man was taken to the hospital Sunday evening after a dog attack in Pittsburgh's Arlington Heights section.

Police say a pit bull chased the victim up a set of city stairs and attacked him.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital with wounds to his arm, shoulder and back.

The owner of the dog blamed for the attack says that her dog was inside during the incident.

"It wasn't my dog. They're always blaming our dogs all the time, and they don't want to look at anybody else in the neighborhood," she said. "It's Arlington; there's pit bulls everywhere."
